Track payment events and subscription activity with your team

Connect your Stripe account to Cushion to track payment events, subscription changes, and keep your team informed about revenue activity.

## Features

## How to Enable

1. Navigate to your team **Settings**  
2. Select the **Integrations** tab  
3. Click **Enable** next to Stripe  
4. Create a restricted API key in your [Stripe Dashboard](https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys)  
5. Paste your restricted key into Cushion

## Creating a Restricted Key

For security, we recommend creating a restricted key with only the permissions Cushion needs:

1. Go to **Developers → API keys** in your Stripe Dashboard  
2. Click **Create restricted key**  
3. Give it a name like “Cushion Integration”  
4. Enable read access for the resources you want to track  
5. Copy the key and paste it into Cushion

## Events Tracked

Once enabled, Cushion can notify your team about:

**Payments**

- Successful payments  
- Failed payment attempts

**Subscriptions**

- New subscriptions  
- Plan changes  
- Cancellations

**Invoices**

- Paid invoices  
- Failed invoice payments

**Customers**

- New customers  
- Customer updates

## Disabling

To disable the Stripe integration:

1. Go to team **Settings** → **Integrations**  
2. Click **Disable** next to Stripe

This removes the API key from Cushion and stops event notifications.
